You can also use the Resort's rental kayaks or canoes to reach the base of an 80-foot cascading waterfall, only accessible by boat. HIGH COUNTRY LODGE, is one the largest cottages on the property with 2,800 square feet of heated space and 500 square feet of covered deck space. The covered decks offer awesome mountain views. Sit by the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the mountain views. Let the kids roam around freely in this gated community. Hike from the cottage to the staffed Greeters Cottage, check out daily activities. Hike to Cedar Cliff Lake, a great hike for the not too serious hiker. For the serious hiking Jump Up trail, located right out the front door. Mill Pond Pavilion is close, a community building with paddle wheel, wishing well & stocked trout ponds, great place to watch the kids enjoy the great outdoors. Many kids have caught their first fish at the trout pond. You will be amazed to how kids take to this outdoor adventure community.
