SUPER SECLUDED cabin rental with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms that sleeps up to 10 situated on 11 acres with breathtaking long range views! At "Piper’s Peak", we believe that nobody should be left behind. Why leave your pet at home when you can bring it along for the adventure? Well behaved dogs are welcome for a one-time nonrefundable pet fee of $50/pet for dogs weighing less than 40 pounds or $75/pet for dogs weighing more than 41 pounds.
“Piper’s Peak” is the perfect destination if you’re looking for privacy, seclusion, and an escape from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life! From the deck and all of the main floor, you will be able to take in the amazing breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Grandfather Mountain! There is an abundant wildlife around with wild turkeys, deer, rabbits, and even the neighbor's cows have made an appearance (fenced area). Our home is accessed by a steep gravel road and driveway (approx. 1 mile). It is plowed in winter, BUT, 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November - March and chains may also be necessary to access the property in the winter months. Front wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended all other times.
Our cabin is pet friendly. However, there is a separate pet fee for each pet. If bringing your four-legged family member, please ensure that you did pay the pet fee on your reservation by contacting management at High Mountain Cabin Rentals.
We are located within a 15 minute drive to Boone and about 3 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Experience year round breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain, Hanging Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Howard's Knob, Rich Mountain, Elk Mountain and Snake Mountain just to name a few. Don't take our word for it......come and experience it yourself!
MAIN FLOOR: The main floor features a spacious living room with a leather sectional sofa, large 60” flat screen TV, game/card table, and floor to ceiling windows to allow natural light! The spacious kitchen offers side by side fridge with ice/water dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, wall oven, and a glass top cook stove. The dining area can seat 6-8 guests for that all important family meal. In addition, there is a full bathroom off the laundry area as well.
The master bedroom is also on the main floor with a king size bed, flat screen TV, and an En Suite bathroom. The master bathroom features a jetted whirlpool tub, his/her sinks, a spacious walk in shower with massaging jets along the wall for that ultimate experience. In addition, the bathroom also has a nice towel warmer as well! The cabinets in the master bathroom is reclaimed wormy chestnut wood from a barn from the 1800s.
UPPER FLOOR: The loft area offers additional sleeping with a twin bed and a futon (sleeps 3 in loft), TV with a Wii System and games, and two chairs that are perfect for reading or taking a nap.
LOWER LEVEL: The lower level has 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom offers a twin over full size bunk bed and the other bedroom offers a queen size bed. There is also a full bathroom as well. The garage area offers a ping pong table.
OUTSIDE: You’ll enjoy the views from the front deck. The fire pit is located behind the home with stumps for seating. Enjoy the great outdoors with walking through the woods and exploring Mother Nature.

Breath taking views with beautiful comfort.
This place is the perfect secluded family getaway home! My family and I stayed for a week at Pipers Peek and loved every second of it. The drive up to the cabin is steep with sharp turns, but were able to navigate it with our SUV. Once we arrived at the cabin we could not get over the views! The sunsets from the large wrap around porch, were gorgeous over the mountain tops! The A/C went out our second day of our stay. But the property manager was easy to work with and even sent out a HVAC technician that evening to fix it! We highly recommend this place to big or small families. It was just 3 adults and we had more than enough space. The living room is large but still feels cozy. The large kitchen and 2 grills made it the perfect hiatus to stay and relax.Gregory P.

Beautiful well appointed mountain cabin/home with gorgeous mountain view’s. We (my wife, two kids under ten years old, and myself) went for a getaway long weekend and found the location to be secluded yet allowed for easy trips to Boone, Grandfather Mountain, and hikes off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The home was well appointed for a family getaway (plenty of board games and videos and video games for the just in case thunderstorm). We all slept great in the comfy beds after active days out and marshmallow roasts around the fire pit capped off by relaxing In the hot tub under the stars. The driveway up is steep and gravel - it is maintained as well as possible for the location and was an easy climb. We had no trouble at all in our front wheel drive SUV (spring weather, no snow or ice). Closest neighbor at the bottom of the hill has a farm for picking lemons and blueberries in season.
