Happy Hours is definitely not your typical beach house - rare and hard to find huge, 8 BR + Kids Nook, 7.5-bath home on canal. Over 4500 sq ft. Of spectacular and unbelievable views of ocean, canal, and waterway!! Conveniently located in the heart of the ocean isle beach - just steps away from the pier, coastal museum, ice cream shop, miniature golf, shops, and restaurants....And just a short 1-2 minute walk to the beach!!!
This beach house has everything! It is specially designed for extra large multi-family gatherings - perfect for family reunions, weddings, the super bowl, holidays, corporate or golf trips!
Interior features
The home features three living rooms, a huge gourmet kitchen with upgraded stainless appliances, spacious granite counter tops, two island breakfast bars, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two sinks, and large dining area w/table that seats twelve. The kitchen is very well-equipped with plenty of work areas for multiple 'chefs' to create delicious family meals.
The home also has an elevator, game room with pool table, poker table, and foosball table. Wireless fiber internet access is included. Other items include

The home is custom furnished and decorated in playful island colors and themes. Walking through the home, you are truly transported to a tropical paradise! The living and common areas are bright, spacious, and elegantly but comfortably appointed and furnished with plenty of seating for everyone. Each of the eight bedrooms has a unique feel and there's even a special room for kids dubbed 'the pirate's cove' with built-in bunks and custom play area.
Exterior features
A private custom HEATED pool and private shower with hot water. The pool is lined with plenty of lounge chairs to bask in the sun. Sit in one of the many rockers to relax and watch the ships go by from one of the many spacious decks all around the house! There is even a top level cupola or look-out to take advantage of the amazing water views. Barbecue and grilling area, private playground with swings and sandbox.
And to top it all off, there is a private extra large floating dock with sink. Bring your own boat- (or rent one) and pull it right up to the backyard!
Kayaks are provided at no charge for guest's use.

Fabulous House
This house is spacious and has something for everyone. Great location - walk to the beach in just a few minutes, easily walk to putt-putt, shops and restaurants. Pool on the property is awesome. Everyone enjoyed their stay at this beautiful home.
We invited our friends and family to come down and we all had a wonderful time at this house. There were more than enough rooms and bathrooms. The kids really enjoyed the upstairs game room. We enjoyed cooking meals in the large kitchen as well as the outside entertaining area. We took advantage of the heated pool and loved sitting out on the decks. Golf Trip
Great place. This was our 3rd time staying at Happy Hours, and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ocean Isle. Very clean, tons of room, and the owner was very accommodating and responsive. Anyone traveling to OIB that has a group of 12 or more, don't pass on this house. We'll definitely be back.Katherine P.
Great House with all the bells and whistles
We spent Thanksgiving at this wonderful house with our family of 22 (four generations.) Everyone had a wonderful time. The weather was excellent and the little ones spent many hours in the pool. Beautiful
The house was beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer. There were a few things that if we were staying longer than we did, they would have been a problem if not fixed right away. There were a couple of bulbs out which made some areas darker than others. There were also fruit flies everywhere that we couldn't get rid of. Other than that, the house was perfect!Paul L.
Great Family Reunion Place
My wife and I celebrated out 50th wedding anniversary at this house the the entire family. Jonathan and Dale graciously allowed us to rent their house with two grandparents (us), four children and spouses and 20 grandchildren. There was never a lack of things to do from us 75 year olds to the 2 year old. Being an owner of a rental property in Acapulco Mexico, we appreciated this house that was fully equipped and immaculate. We also did our best to leave it the way we found it and were reimbursed the full security deposit. Our son-in-law brought his fishing boat, so the canal access was of great benefit for fishing and sight seeing on the water. Lord willing, we will do this again.Joan F.
2017 Read Vacation in OIB
Our stay at Happy Hours was nothing short of fabulous. The house had everything you could ever want and in many cases two of them. As you think of what the kids will enjoy the most, the dock was never in my top 5 considerations about the house. The young kids loved the dock, we caught 3 crabs and one flounder. Our 3 year old checked those pots 4-5 times a day. We will have these amazing memories of our 2017 vacation in OIB forever.... Joan ReadMonica W.
Everything you want and more
This was a lovely property. Everything we needed was there in the home, there was nothing that we had to get outside of the home. The owners thought of everything The home was clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that there was access to the balcony from just about every room. The views from the balconies were beautiful and relaxing. The heated pool was an excellent addition to the home. We were traveling with my elderly mom and she loved having an elevator available. The home is in a good location, close to the beach and stores. The owners were easy to contact. The housing manager was very friendly. This was my first time to this area and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The home made the visit that much more pleasurable. I would definitely rent this property again and would recommend it to friends and family. I've rented other homes but this was by far the best and nicest of them all. My favorite yet Both a beauty & accommodating
My family and I travel quite often and we are a large crew - so we seek the larger properties that can host us all under one roof. When we arrived, we were thrilled with the home. It far exceeded our expectations. We coordinated with a local talent agency and planned a "murder mystery" that took place at the home for our last night there. The home proved to be the perfect space for our activity. The property manager was on site and always available when needed. I would highly recommend this property and the property owners! Sorry for the delayed review - but I definitely wanted to tell prospective guest about the great time that I know they will have!Mike J.
Guys trip
8 of us went down for a quick guys weekend of golf and fishing. Couldn't have picked a better place. Lots of room, great outdoor kitchen, and convenient to grocery store and restaurants. Definitely book again for our next trip to ocean isle.Contact Owner
