Philippe Starck inspired fixtures set the tone for this designer condo located at the Wrightsville Beach’s undeveloped north end. Travertine marble flooring and bath, custom cherry cabinetry and luscious black granite counters lend an understated elegance. Surround yourself with luxurious comfort in this elegant sanctuary by the sea.

Our unit has been the wedding suite of choice for the staff at Shell Island. They call our suite the 'Travolta Suite', named after a recent guest who selected our unit over all the rest of the units in the building. Opera star Jessye Norman loved our unit as well - but our marble bath is so cool, everyone tends to sing there, at least in the shower.... Our unit is far and away the finest unit at Shell Island. Shell Island has two levels, standard, and premier. Ours is a 'Premier unit on Steroids'. Proof is that our's was the highest grossing unit last year. Why? Because once you stay there, you will want to keep asking for Unit 803 By The Sea! We are high on the 8th floor, and the view is spectacular.

Absolute Perfection!

Our stay at Shell Island Resort in Wrightsville Beach North Carolina was incredible! The condo (Oceanview) was modern, spacious, clean and had everything that we needed! We will absolutely book our vacation for next year to stay at the same condo! The view was breathtaking; the staff was wonderful and we took advantage of the indoor/and outdoor pool on site! The restaurant had wonderful food as well! We were extremely happy with our vacation!

Great time in Wrightsville Beach. Pretty place and nice people. The condo was ocean facing and a beautiful view. The property itself is a little run down. Good place for kids.

Bad communication from Owner

Owner accepted Offer and asked me to pay in less than 5 days. I did and 1 week after he indicated someone else had booked the same weekend. Interesting enough that I checked the website 4 weeks in a row and nothing showed as booked. All of the sudden someone tries to book for a better $$$ from another site and I got a cancelation notice. ALL my plans for a Birthday weekend came to the ground. Terrible!
