PROPERTY Description
Red Fox Retreat is one of three, 400 square foot cabins on our property that back up to the Future Headwaters State Forest. This ensures that we have few neighbors and plenty of wildlife. This cabin has a small deck with two adirondack chairs perfect for relaxing beneath the trees and taking in plenty of fresh air. Inside you'll find a living room with high ceilings and lots of windows that look out into the forest. It has a comfy couch, TV and has Wifi. It's also furnished with a small dining table and chairs. The kitchen, although small, comes fully equipped to make a meal. It has a coffee maker, full sized appliances, dishes and some cookware. The bathroom has a good sized shower and plenty of fresh, white towels and hairdryer. Down the hall, you'll find stairs that lead up to the loft space that overlooks the living area. This second bedroom space has low ceilings and comes equipped with two twin beds. It's perfect for kids or agile adults. ***We do not make the twin beds up for parties fewer than 3 unless requested. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you want them made up.*** ***Loft not suitable for toddlers.*** Downstairs in the main bedroom, hidden behind curtains, you'll find a small washer and dryer which comes in handy if you have more activities planned than you have clothes for. The bed is queen sized and comes with a fresh quilt and sheets that are washed after every guest. We pride ourselves on our fresh, clean linens. The bed has drawers underneath for storage and the bedroom has a large closet as well. The bedroom also has a door with lock so that it can be closed off from the rest of the cabin for privacy. Outside you will find three separate fire pit areas perfect for star gazing or roasting marshmallows!

Perfect little cabin and beautifully kept grounds
We stayed two nights. The cabin was immaculate when we arrived. The kids loved the loft and being able to sleep up there. The grounds were beautiful and we used one of the three fire pits to build a fire and roast mallows. We would absolutely return again.Mary D.
