Just 5 minutes (or less) to downtown's King Street~2 miles to App State campus, Kidd Brewer Stadium & Holmes Center~

Pristine, funky & fun modular bungalow~Master suite w/ ensuite bath~Full (double) bedroom and Twin bedroom share Hall bath~

If you had Boone vacations as a child or attended ASU (or ASTC, old tmer!) you'll get a special kick out of the decor~

In WINTER, 4WD/AWD vehicle and balls to drive on snow and ice are highly recommended~

There is a bus stop for AppalCart public transit system at the foot of our hill which will shuttle you all around town~

No smoking allowed* anywhere inside or on the property. Sorry we cannot allow pets*. No open fires.

Must be at least 25 years old to rent~Not suitable for children or handicapped~

NOTE: Boone has a chronic water shortage. Please hang up and reuse towels and otherwise conserve water at every opportunity!

Enjoy downtown Boone and shop, dine, party knowing you're close to your vacation home~

Appalachian Summer Festival is one of the "Top Twenty Events in the Southeast"~MerleFest is 34 short miles downhill (Wilkes County)~

Find your inner Clark Griswold and celebrate Choose & Cut Christmas tree season~

Parent (or grandparent) of an App student? You will appreciate the proximity to campus~

Hike, bike, kayak, tube and still sleep in a warm bed at night~If you want snow sports, they are close-by AND you have the amenities of downtown apres ski~

Again, consider LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION: Solitude & scenery can be great. But traveling to and from an otherwise wonderful vacation rental that is stuck in the middle of nowhere on a curvy\ slick\foggy\narrow\unpaved mountain road can get old (and dangerous) mighty quickly.

If you are planning to do anything other than just staying put, you will probably be headed to Boone (or wishing you could). Just sayin'...

This is a really COOL mini-villa~You'll enjoy lot's of amenities NOT pictured~

*Smoking restriction should be obvious but the pet ban is due to guest allergies. We love our pets too.

Washing Machine (High-efficiency LG, state-of-the-art & plays catchy tunes. Only 1Tide pod per load! Designed for efficient COLD washes. Talks to smartphones but I have never overheard a conversation...)

Dishwasher (Just put 1 detergent pod in the BOTTOM and run (the washer, not run out the door). Do not try to pry a detergent pod in door dispenser 'cause it won't fit...)

The place is cozy and comfortable! We really enjoyed the chairs on the deck and the spacious deck!!

The only thing we were missing was a coffee pot. Somehow I missed there was just a Keurig. A reusable K cup would solve that oversite on a renters part. We enjoyed the decor and furnishings. We had a weekend filled with quality time with our friends!

Imaginary Guests Stay FREE!~Fun Mountainsid... - HomeAway

Streamline easy check in. Extreamly clean, comfortable and fun. History on the walls brought me back to Fred Kirby days as a child. I would definitely stay here again.
