Get a cup of 'Joe' and watch the sun rise! Or get a good book from the bookcase and relax and read. Maybe you want to make a puzzle as a family activity. We have that too ! Relaxation is the 'name of the game' here. Enjoy a good movie, or get on the internet. If cocktail hour is your enjoyment, go up to the 'crow's nest' and imbibe in a cold refreshing 'mood adjuster'. Home away from home this house is ready to welcome you to your perfect vacation destination
The house was clean comfortable and ready to be a home away from home. The kitchen has all the utensils cookware and dishware needed to prepare meals and the Food Lion is just a few minutes down Route 12 as is a lovely seafood store. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had great water pressure. The bedrooms were comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets on hand. The view from the living/dining area was spectacular with breathtaking scenes of the ocean for sunrise and moonrise The quiet secluded beach is steps away over a sand dune path with great shelling opportunities for the kids . Our two dogs were welcome and enjoyed walks on the beach with us all week. The outside shower and hose made for easy sand removal before stepping back into the house.There are plenty restaurants and quaint shopping opportunities nearby. The Hatteras lighthouse is not far. I highly recommend a stop at Beans and Beads coffee shop for a caffeinated drink and a chance to bead your own necklace or bracelet. The owner of Airwaves is accommodating responsive and a pleasure to deal with and rent from. The house has puzzles books and games for a rainy day and with multiple tv's and wifi you are always connected. All in all a perfect vacation destinationContact Owner
