PROPERTY Description
Eco Cove House is located on a 117 acre wildlife sanctuary, adjacent to the Pisgah National Forest, halfway between Marion and Old Fort, NC, each seven minutes away. We are 20 minutes from Black Mountain, and 30 minutes from Asheville.
Meadows, forests, ponds and our lovely gardens draw birds and wildlife to our property. Eco-Cove is a secluded, romantic getaway with a peaceful ambiance, a perfect place to relax and enjoy our beautiful mountains. The house is filled with vintage decorations and original oil paintings.
Eco Cove House house is a 1500 square foot home with a 50' covered porch that has a swing, glider, and wicker furniture. It is situated next to a brook, in a meadow in the forest. We are private and safe, and located on a state maintained road, 1/2 mile from 70 Highway. The living room is spacious, with an adjoining formal dining room, and satellite TV with HBO.
Our king-sized master suite has a shower, double sink, and hot tub (filled for weekly rentals). There is a full walk-in closet and multiple dressers. The second bedroom is a queen, with a full bathroom and shower/tub across the hall.
Across from the kitchen's breakfast nook, which has a bay window overlooking the forest, is a den, which has a day bed. The kitchen has full amenities, pots and pans, refrigerator with an ice maker, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and toaster. On the other side of the den, there is a half bath and washer/dryer.
Our acre pond has koi that love to be fed, and we will be glad to give you fish food.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the property. No pets and no smoking allowed.
The rate listed for this 2 bedroom house is for 4 people. The maximum occupancy is 6 people, with the use of the day bed in the open room den, which sleeps two. It requires an extra charge of $20.00 plus taxes per person.
