PROPERTY Description

Private log cabin nestled in the woods beside roaring Howard's Creek. Located only about 7 minutes from Boone with easily accessible roads. Close to the action, but completely in a paradise setting where you will be sure to unwind. The cabin is a tastefully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath, home with a spacious den/bunkroom/game room in the lower level. The outdoor living space includes a large covered front porch with chairs and swing, a back deck for grilling and entertainment, a lower patio with fire ring, and a firepit and bench by the water! Come and relax, get away from it all, and enjoy all that the High Country has to offer.

Very nice clean and quiet

The cabin was very nice, clean and quiet. I spent most of my time in the sunroom. I opened the windows and listened to the creek. Very relaxing.

Creek Oasis

We had a wonderful stay at the Streamside Cabin. Spent a week there with my extended family; it comfortably slept two families (4 adults and 4 kids). We found it very convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock and we enjoyed numerous outings to breweries, restaurants, and trails in the area. We loved the finished porch, it was a really nice place to read with the windows open in the evenings, listening to the hum of the creek. The creek is gorgeous and provides a wonderful background noise - its definitely one of the best features of the cabin. Owners were responsive and courteous. Plenty of sheets and cooking ware and clean. Only negatives: the main part of the cabin does not have a ton of natural light and the basement is a little musty though the rest of the house is fine.

Cabin you've been looking for.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Looks just like the photos. Clean and private with comfortable beds and everything we needed. Spent hours by the stream during the day and nights around the fire pit. Don't forget to stop by the Goober Peas country store.

Relaxing Getaway Retreat

Our family had a wonderful experience at the Streamside Log Cabin. It is a very clean, beautiful cabin. We enjoyed relaxing beside the tranquil creek in the back or swinging on the front porch. We will definitely visit again.

Loved this place!

We had a great vacation in Boone and this place helped make it wonderful. My kids could have played in the creek outback the whole time. My husband and I spent every morning and evening on the sun/screen porch. I would highly recommend this place! It was very clean, well stocked with the minor essentials you usually have to buy (ie seasonings and condiments), and comfortable. A big deer came into the yard each night to graze. Location was slightly out of town, which is what we prefer, but still an easy and short drive to everything. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip. And make sure you stop into Goober Pea's at the corner, the owner was the nicest guy.

wonderful place

The cabin was a wonderful place to stay in. All the rooms were great, it's a great place for a family. I would love to come back next year.
