PROPERTY Description
Hankins Haven is a beautifully built traditional lowcountry house with a wraparound porch (screened on the creek side), three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and glass doors with a view of the marsh from both the living room and the kitchen/dining area.
The house is available for rental, and is available by the week only, Saturday-Saturday. We're sorry that we can't rent for shorter times.
We do not rent to house parties.
It sleeps six comfortably and dogs are welcome. A dock on the creek provides access for kayaks, easy fishing and crabbing, and a lovely place to sit and watch birds and other wildlife.
Hankins Haven is on the mainland side of the creek. You can quickly drive or take a boat to the island--about 15 minutes, however you go.
In a beautiful natural setting, you'll see birds at all seasons. Big glass doors and windows facing the creek let you be a part of the outdoors while you're comfortable inside, or you can sit on the dock and watch the sun rise or set. Take a kayak back into unspoiled marshes or to the beach. A short drive takes you to historic houses, churches, and gardens, or to the surf at Pawley's.

Relaxing Family Spring Break!
We enjoyed the house and its peaceful location. Relaxing on the dock each evening was a family favorite. The house was conveniently located to water sports, Mini golf in Myrtle Beach and several good restaurants. We look forward to staying at Hankins Haven in the future.Susan D.
Surfside beach SCHankins HEaven
Great creek access and terrific crabbing. Trip to the beach pretty easy though it seems a distance away. Excellent house for folks who love the marsh, rocking on the porch, and relaxing. Our granddaughter said it best "she had everything she needed right there" we will come back, but have these suggestions: stretch the hammock one more post, need a good grits pot, and a crab tongs for cooking. Add an outside shower and it would be perfection!Ronney D.
A hidden gem
Water from the creek in addition to a wonderful view helped this house want us to visit again. Not far to pawleys beach if you kayak or motor by boat.Contact Owner
