PROPERTY Description
Come play at the beach at the Willems Beach Club! Our condo sits on Spencer Creek at the Pamlico Sound and provides amazing sunset views from our balcony, direct water access to the sound, and a 5 minute walk across the street to the ocean. Located in a small 12 unit complex, the two bed/ two bath condo has a balcony and master bedroom overlooking the sound. There is water access and a fishing pier in our backyard so take our kayak or paddleboard out into the sound or relax on the balcony and watch the kite boarders and windsurfers. The master bedroom has a King size bed, flat screen TV, and a private bath with shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunkbeds, and a TV for watching DVDs. The kitchen has been recently remodeled and has all modern appliances and amenities and is fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Enjoy the views from the dining area and living room or watch a movie on the DVD player. Cable TV and WiFi are also included. The property features a private pool, grill and picnic area, fish cleaning table, laundry room, fishing pier, and a kayak launch area. We have a storage closet on the ground level with room for storing your beach chairs and umbrellas. The beach is a short 5 minute walk across the street. You will love the wide open beach for morning walks and beach combing. Avon is known for its wide sandy beaches and sand dunes. You can also enjoy unlimited beach and sound access all along NC 12 for fishing and sunbathing...sometimes the only company you'll find on the beach is the wildlife! Sidewalks have been recently installed along the highway through the entire town of Avon, so you can jump on one of our bikes and ride to restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops, etc. or take a long run or walk. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condo - no driving required! Food Lion is also about 5 mins. down the road and is well stocked for all of your grocery needs. Koru Village is also about 5 mins. away and has a spa and fitness center as well as many weekly activities and concerts that are open to all Avon visitors. Right next door to our building is a rental shop where you can rent jet skis and other water toys. In the nearby towns of Buxton and Frisco you can play mini golf, ride go karts, or tour the famous Hatteras Lighthouse.
Our condo is managed by Shore Details. They will make sure the unit is cleaned (beds are made with linens in the summer season) and ready for your arrival and can help with any other needs you may have while you are visiting. There are several options for renting beach supplies or linens, should you need anything we don't have. **Please note we only rent by the week with a Saturday turnover from May to September. No mid week or partial week rentals in high season.
Please note that a permit is required for fishing or driving on the beach and can be obtained at several stores in Avon.

Outer Banks Retreat
We enjoyed this two bedroom, two bath condo in Avon. The location was ideal as we wanted to be in a less commercialized area but we still had access to good restaurants and a beautiful beach.Susie M.
