PROPERTY Description

This beautiful, Non-Smoking condo is located in Beech Mountain, the highest town in the Eastern United States. The condo features a rock fireplace (gas) and spectacular views of the distant mountain ranges and golf course. The condo has a club membership with access to golf, tennis, and the swimming pool. Enjoy snowskiing just less than a mile from the condo for those winter sport activists. During the spring, summer, and fall, enjoy the wide variety of area attractions. Winter travelers should be in check with the local weather, conditions can change quickly, four wheel drive or chains may be necessary due to snow activity.

The unit has a gas stone fireplace and a deck with spectacular views. The kitchen is fully-equipped. A stereo system, TV with VCR and DVD and a small video library are all included in the unit for your enjoyment. Each of the three bedrooms has its own private tiled bathroom, two kings main floor, two twins downstairs. A gas grill is at the unit for those outdoor cookouts. All linens are provided. Catering, pet-sitting, and baby-sitting can also be arranged.

Loved this place!

Great property in a great location! All the amenities you need with enough space. Very clean and has everything you need for a home away from home! The board game/book collection and tv’s were great to have as well.

Gorgeous View!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy condo. It was conveniently located to the Beech Mtn. ski resort, and great food!! I would recommend staying here in both winter and summer!

Excellent!

Keith was very accommodating to us. You must follow the paper directions as he said and it is no problem getting there if you do. Yes there are a lot of steps but it was nothing and nice to get a little exercise in. The place was very cozy with a beautiful view. Loved the gas fireplace!! The king mattress was old and hard but we survived. I would stay here again!

2019 Winter Fun

The villa was very nice and met our needs. The view was outstanding. Being 5 minutes from the Beech was a plus. Decor was a little retro but fine for us. The owner was very responsive. We would stay again if we return. ⛷🎿�

Great location, very homey feel

Keith's property is perfect for a skiing trip to Beech Mountain. The house is completely outfitted as if it was your home - cooking supplies, books, and WiFi included. The appliances are a bit dated, but that is to be expected of a mountain home. We were just 4, but plenty of sleeping room for 6+. Please note that if you do not have AWD/4x4, you may struggle to make it up to this location if it has snowed recently. We did not come prepared to drive up the ice/snow in our RWD car with all-seasons on, but were able to call Keith to find an alternate route which was a bit easier to trek. Since we were going night skiing and the temperature was already below 30, we decided to leave our vehicle at the house and walk to the ski resort (about 1 mile), which worked out great.

Great location!!

Such a cute place! Keith was great to work with and very helpful with any questions I had. The condo is definitely dated, but everything is very clean and works great. My 7 and 9 year old were fascinated by the old school corded phone that they had. We used both king beds upstairs, they were firm which we like. The gas fireplace was amazing and kept us and our boots very warm. Beech was getting lots of snow, so we decided to stop at the Lowe's in Banner Elk (highly recommend) on the way up and get some food to cook. The kitchen is small, but appliances worked great. We made the girls a pizza and cooked veggies and steak on the stovetop. So nice hanging out watching it snow. It was amazing to get up in the AM and be 5 minutes to the ski slopes for the 6 inches of fresh powder. If you are going in the winter, make sure you have chains or 4 wheel drive to get to the condo.

Great weekend getaway

Perfect getaway for the weekend! The condo was very well-kept and super clean. Was a great choice for my family attending an App State game. Would totally stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Loved it!

This place was cute, cozy, plenty of space, and gorgeous views. It's a little tricky to find but that's not a huge deal. There's plenty of space to spread out and with a fireplace and plenty of heating, it's easy to warm up after a long day out in the cold. It's pretty funky and looks like something straight out of the 70s - which we thought was adorable. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
