The Sandhills Lodge is ideal for golf outings, corporate retreats, wedding parties, or, for those enjoying one of the local university sporting events. There are 6 master bedroom suites on two floors. Individual room or whole house reservations can be made at by calling 919 360 5321. The upper floor has 4 bedrooms with private baths that surround a common area that includes a 65' UltraHDTV, stereo and BlueRay player and an open floor plan living room, dining area and kitchen. The lower level has 2 bedroom/ bathroom/living room suites adjoining a central common area executive boardroom with a large mahogany table with 10 comfy leather chairs. Each bedroom has its own 40" HDTV featuring Time Warner cable. All suites have two queen beds, two lower level suites also have private living rooms. An 8 foot wide veranda with comfortable outdoor furniture surrounds the upper floor that overlooks the 1st fairway of the Governors Club golf course. The lower level suites open onto a patio.

Great place to Relax and Refresh
As a frequent business traveler to the Raleigh – Chapel Hill area, I was looking for an alternative to the local hotels. The Inn is just the spot. It is clean, fresh and quiet, just the place to relax and refresh. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Each room has an equipped kitchenette, in addition to two standard kitchens on each floor. The living room can accommodate a number of people and it’s nice to have a separate dining area. I only required one room and found that having access to my room directly from outside or through the main house was very nice, as I could come and go without disturbing other guests. The fruit with the continental breakfast was very fresh. I particularly appreciated the athletic center which is located a short distance from the Inn. It is well equipped with an indoor pool and not busy in the evening. Within a short distance I found a nice Italian restaurant, a great coffee shop, a grocery store and liquor store. The commute to work is better than the commute from my regular hotel as I did not find myself sitting in traffic. In addition, it is a place I would stay if attending a weekend game at UNC or Duke. Karen is accessible, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I also found the residents of the community to be helpful and pleasant. I will defiantly return again.Matt F.
