Rustic cabin located on 100 acres of loblolly pines in historic Marion, South Carolina. If you are needing a private retreat with NO other cabins around, you have found true seclusion. We have created a mountain setting only 50 miles from the vacation capital of the southeast, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Golf cart rental is available!

The cabin is sitting high above a stocked bream and bass pond with charming rustic touches throughout. Walking trails around and through the property gives you plenty of opportunity to see deer, turkey and a variety of birds. In the morning, grab yourself a warm cup of coffee and sit on our screen porch overlooking the pond and let your worries melt away. The six person hot tub is sure to relieve any stress that day to day work environment has created.

If you would like to get out and see the historic towns of Marion and Mullins there is plenty of antique shops and eateries to keep you busy. How about taking a slow paced canoe ride down the Little Pee Dee River only 10 minutes away.If you would like to get on the greens for a round of golf, there are three courses all within 15 minutes of the cabin. Parents with small children, we do have a high chair for your use.

No refunds if you cancel inside of 30 days of arrival. Outside of 30-60 days refund based on me getting those dates picked up by another renter. I would suggest you buy travel insurance to protect your rental payment.

Absolute Perfection

I have used Homeaway and VRBO for at least the last decade. We prefer to use these sites over hotels or resorts whenever possible. This cabin is the exact reason for this. It was absolutely perfect. Everything was as described or better! The hot tub, pond, private acreage, and custom spiral staircase helped make this place amazing. We couldn't be happier about our decision to stay at this cabin. We started planning our next stay within the first 3 hours of being there. Thank you so much, Rodney, for allowing us to stay in your cabin. It was truly wonderful.

Great Escape

Best little get away my wife and I have had in a long time. I think we will enjoy it a little more in the spring. However we still sit out on the beautiful porch and enjoyed the awesome hot tub and had a warm fire in the amazing fireplace in the evenings. Also I will now be investing in a big green egg. We cooked on it three times during our short stay and it was just amazing. I could write all day on here and still not describe the great time we had at this amazing place. Thank you and we are already looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful!

My daughter was in a wedding at Hidden Acres and has two children under the age of two so we needed a place to stay that didn't require a lot of travel once we got there. This place is perfect because it is less than 3 minutes from the venue. When we arrived we were delighted! You would honestly think you were in the mountains if you didn't know better. Hideaway Haven is ideal if you are looking for a break from the norm. I hate we were only in town for the weekend. This is definitely a place worth spending some quality down time from the normal grind. Wonderfully decorated and well equipped. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Rodney, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful.

The Perfect Getaway!

Rodney was been an excellent host! Renting from him is our first experience using VRBO and we couldn't recommend this cabin enough! Everything about it is PERFECT! Not only are you extremely secluded from the rest of the world but you're also not far from all the attractions. We traveled from PA to SC with our three pups to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We highly recommend staying for a week as we have, you won't regret it! We enjoyed each and every day while at the cabin! We loved exploring the area during the day (the locals are so beyond nice!!!) and returning to the cabin at night to relax. The water fall, hammocks, screened in porch, hot tub, grill...every. single. thing. was amazing! Heck, even the beds were comfortable and we loved that we could control the temperature of the cabin! Our dogs especially loved being able to roam free, hiking with us on his 100 acre lot and exploring the pond. If you're looking for a place to escape, this is what you've been looking for! The cabin is extremely private, clean and has all the amenities you're looking for with a ton of extras, Rodney exceeded our exceptions! We love this place and can not wait to come back!

The cabin was wonderful !!!

A cabin in the woods was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin and the waterfall were beautiful !! The owner recommended eating at Websters Manor and it was outstanding... wish we could go again !!!! Thank you Rodney !!! The Tobacco Museum was a great experience... the Gentleman running it was extremely knowledgeable !!! The Antique mall was great to roam around and find just about anything you need !! We would highly recommend visiting and enjoying such a peaceful place !!!!!

Just what we needed!

I first would like to say thank you to Rodney and family for how responsive they were leading up to both of our stays at the cabin! We used the cabin as a halfway point between PA and FL on the way down and back and it was exactly what we needed for relaxation! Rodney was in constant communication if I had questions and letting me know when the cabin was ready and I cannot tell you much I appreciated that! The cabin itself is quite nice. My dogs enjoyed the screened porch in the back, they also enjoyed the large deck out front and of course enjoyed our hiking adventure through the entire property! The property is so large and secluded! It is a cute and quaint cabin. It was clean and very welcoming. One of the things we always look for when renting and/or being consistent renters on repeat vacations is a warm and welcoming feeling and this definitely had that vibe. My family also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. My two teenagers who are so internet reliant even disconnected, played checkers on the back porch and went exploring. My dogs of course were in heaven and we appreciated that for a few extra dollars we were able to bring more than the two dogs with prior approval. Thank you so much Rodney and family! We will be back the next time we are in the area. 5 stars for sure! The Weavers

Great time

My husband and I had a great visit! The weather was warm in the day, we would walk the property and cool at night, to build a fire in the fireplace. Cozy and quiet. A nice cabin to getaway and unplug.

As the title Says, "Secret" Simply Beautiful

My wife and I spent our 17th anniversary here for the weekend with our two dogs. No sounds of traffic. Just nature and us. The cabin is beautiful. This is a place you come to with groceries and desperate yourselves from the day to day. As a grilling man the green egg was,a highlight for me. Came home and did research and ordered my own kamado grill. Only texted with Rodney but was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Can't wait to return for a longer stay!!!

It feels like a mountain get away!

It was a beautiful cabin! The waterfall was very peaceful! We enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin was decorated pretty. We loved the screened porch with a porch swing and a game of checkers. It was definitely a nice place to get away from the rat race!
