This charming vacation home is a perfect getaway.

The rental is located a short walk or golf cart ride from the beach. The interior is like new with all you need for food preparation, parties and lounging. The decor is clean, lighthearted and happy with a fabulous large screened in patio overlooking a lush pond. The owner has a full list of recommended restaurants nearby. Also, fun things to do in and out of the community. There is something for everyone. A great place to make family memories.

The Perfect Pawleys Island Retreat

We are frequent visitors to Pawleys Island's Litchfield-by-the-Sea community and this was by far our favorite rental property. Recently renovated and wonderfully decorated, this private beach house made us feel right at home. Very clean, nicely appointed, and conveniently located in a gated community with a short 5-munite walking distance to the beach and to Starbucks. Highly recommend.

Better than described!!

Everything you need for vacation. Pool is a short walk away. The appointments (linens, tableware, artwork are way beyond vacation rental standard). 2 adorable bedrooms up have their own private baths and a deck. Again, the linens and artwork are fun, colorful and unique. Master down, the same- w French doors to front porch, shelved closet as well as a walk-in. Also cute sitting area by French doors. 3 couples could easily enjoy luxury and privacy at 60 Compass Court. Beach is a block on foot, 2 or 3 driving to actual Beach Club with parking. We enjoyed all in addition to grilling, seeing historic Georgetown, Hobcaw Barony, and getting grandkids thru sailing camp at the nearby South Carolina Maritime Museum. I would definitely stay here again. As an aside, owners are available almost IMMEDIATELY, with an email, text or phone call, should you need assistance.

Lovely home, great location

The home is lovely, very cheery and bright, with nice touches (art work, blow dryers, well-equipped kitchen, supplies, board games) throughout. The screened in porch is also great, and the washer and dryer were great to have. We've stayed in Litchfield by the Sea before and the beach access is great, as is the proximity of Starbucks for all the coffee lovers. It was nice to be close to the pool as well, which was largely un-used it seemed by others in that section (the one time we used it we had it all to ourselves). Wi-fi worked well and was not slow. Our only suggestion was for the Nest temperature control to not be pre-set. AC would drop down to 68 at night, which was a little chilly for us, but, otherwise, we were very pleased w/the rental and that says alot as we are uber picky people, having rented through Homeaway and VRBO many times. Brett was extremely responsive any time we contacted him. The manual/recommendations were also helpful, despite the fact that we've stayed in Litchfield or Pawley's Island several times. We'd rent the property again.

Perfect Beach House

While most things in life are rarely perfect this home came very close. Our family fell in love with the beautiful decor of this comfortable and very well equipped home. The pool was just a few steps across the street and not crowded at all and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. We really enjoyed watching the wildlife in the lagoon directly behind the home. The owner responded to all of our questions immediately and was very pleasant to deal with. We would highly recommend this home.

AMAZING! We will be back!!

My husband and I, and 4 kiddos (8, 6, 4, & 3) travel a good bit and I’m always looking for nice places to stay (that feel like home). Compass 60 was awesome!! Aside from the beautiful decorations & colorful walls that can be seen in the pictures, there were several things that I liked that can only be felt. We’ve all stayed somewhere that had thin, cheap, gross towels... well, I was pleasantly surprised about the nice, thick plush bath towels! I love a thick towel out of the shower! Also, the master bath had nice, plush bath rugs, cozy to step on getting out of the shower. Obvious that families would most likely be staying, they even had a cute little step stool in the upstairs bedroom for littles to step onto to brush teeth. Perfect for my 3 year old girl. Felt like home!! If that isn’t all perfect enough, my 8 year old son was JACKED when he discovered they had an XBox, so he got some video game time when we were taking a break from the pool. Location: We really likes the location of the house. A short walk to the beach, and an equal walk to our FAVORITE pool, that we call the “Submarine Pool.” It’s actually called the “Summer House Pool”, but it is awesome for kids. Has a fenced in kid area with a big bright Submarine in 1 foot of water that kids can go in and play, while still getting wet, it also has a mushroom, dumping buckets, and a big barrel that dumps water. So it was a short 5 minute walk to the “Submarine Pool,” which many times we were able to catch the golf cart shuttle where a sweet man who called himself “Uncle Jay” drove us to and from the beach, house and pool. A wonderful compliment from my husband was that “Compass 60 exceeded his expectations”. Now that is fun for my husband to be impressed! What else... I would be remiss to not mention how WONDERFUL Brett & Cherie we’re to work with! They were extremely responsive and VERY QUICK to get back to us if we had a question! A DEFINITE AND EASY 5 STARS!!! We will be back! Thanks Brett and Cherie!!
